Due to situations out of our control, the Bays cannot enter the United States as a group and therefore cannot play Camp Bisco this year.  We would like to apologize to everyone who was looking forward to this performance.  We were just as excited as everyone else to have them as a part of Camp Bisco.

In light of this recent development, we are EXTREMELY excited to announce that a couple of the top players from Camp Bisco have stepped up and taken the Bays slot.   Marc Brownstein, Simon Posford, Aron Magner, and Zach Velmer are going to fill the slot, as 'The New Originals'.  This one time only, all improvised, psychedelic set featuring some all-star musicians is guaranteed to be a highlight of Camp Bisco.  Marc, Aron, and Zach have shown their chemistry before in the short lived super group Suckapunch, and are joining together for the first time since then with world renown musician and producer Simon Posford.  We would like to thank each individual musician for stepping up and helping us fill this slot with such amazing talent.  This extremely rare grouping of musicians coming together at the last minute is what Camp Bisco is all about.

There was a limited allotment of tickets at the $115 price and they have already sold out. Ticket prices are now $130 and without notice, jump to $145. On August 15th @ 5pm tickets will raise to the final gate price of $160.

We have some exciting artist announcements to make for Camp Bisco 6.  We studied the already stellar lineup and decided that we would fill in a couple of the gaps.  With over 25 artists already announced, we are thrilled for this year's event and are proud to call it the best lineup that we've assembled yet!

With Simon Posford already attending Camp Bisco with Hallucinogen in Dub, why stop there!  Simon will be performing a Shpongle DJ Set, which will surely be one of the highlights of the weekend. Currently producing tracks for The Disco Biscuits upcoming album, Simon has spent this summer playing shows all over the world. We're thrilled to be the East Coast stop for Shpongle this summer.

The Twisted Crew continues, as OTT will be performing a DJ Set.  OTT is the other half of Hallucinogen in Dub, along with his Twisted Records partner Simon Posford. OTT's previous work has included producing/engineering albums for Brian Eno, The Orb, Sinead O'Conner & Shpongle (just to name a few). In recent years, OTT has branched out as a recording artist and DJ.   A first time performer at Camp, this set is sure to be one for the ages.

We just didn't feel right without including some good old foot stompin' Rock and Roll.  Nobody playing music today says rock and roll more than Scott Metzger and Joe Russo, the core of Bustle in your Hedgerow, also featuring Dave Dreiwitz of Ween, and for this special performance, Jamie Shields of the New Deal.  Bustle recreates the music of Led Zeppelin, and they do it incredibly well. They have rocked packed clubs and festival crowds for the past couple of years. Between Russo's beats, Metzger's licks, Dreiwitz's precision, and Jamie's unique melodic approach, this is going to be a one hell of a set.

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Lyrics Born brings his hip-hop flavor to the Camp Bisco Stage.  He will be backed by a seven-piece band, which will surely add even more energy to his already anticipated set.  He was recently seen on tour and heard on Galactic's new hip-hop album, "From The Corner To The Block."

Last but certainly not least, straight from Connecticut, The Breakfast will be bringing their progressive, funk rock sound to their first Camp Bisco. The Jammy Award winning trio has spent the last year touring across the country in support of their last release, Moxie Epoxy. The band's ability to mix up a wealth of styles and feed of their influences, combined with the pure talent and raw energy put out at every show make The Breakfast a band not to be missed.

Umphrey’s McGee will be returning to the Camp Bisco stage after taking a year off. In that year, they have refined, improved, and expanded their sound with some major festivals under their belt such as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, 10k Lakes, and All Good.  Their success in 2006 culminated in their amazing performance on New Year’s Eve at The Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, and this summer Umphrey’s McGee will be opening for The Dave Matthews Band at several large amphitheaters.  The ever-evolving sound of Umphrey’s McGee continues to surprise and elate us and they are guaranteed to rock and shock us at this summer’s final blow out.

We are proud to bring one of Britain’s most unique and lively bands, The Bays. Based upon hundreds of requests from the fans, we brought you the band that is “reinventing dance music.”   “Their manifesto of pure improvisation and raw creative synergy is causing major tremors at all levels of the music industry, challenging many of its most entrenched attitudes about bands and live performance.” – DJ Magazine.

Adam Deitch will be returning after performing on all three stages last year. He seemed to be the talk of the campgrounds after making epic performances with the infamous John Medeski on the main stage, and rocking with his own band both inside and on the side stage. This year he will be bringing the story teller himself, Slick Rick, to provide us with what promises to be one of the most memorable performances in Camp Bisco’s history.

Also making a return visit this year will be the Benzos and Indobox. The decision to bring these bands back to Camp was easy after both bands provided hard-hitting energetic music which complimented the lineup perfectly. We are also proud to introduce one of our personal favorites, The Afromotive, a nine piece afro-oriented world beat band out of Asheville, NC. In addition, Philadelphia’s own, The Grimace Federation, will be making their debut performance at Camp Bisco along with Digital Frontier, Strut, and Caveman.

Tickets are on sale now for only $130 at campbisco.net, discobiscuits.com, and meatcamp.com.  Be sure to get your tickets soon before this allotment runs out.  We’ll see you all in 74 days!!!

After a very successful food drive at last year’s Camp Bisco, where over 1,000 pounds of food was collected, The Disco Biscuits and Conscious Alliance are happy to announce another food drive during this annual festival.  The Conscious Alliance will be releasing a Limited Edition Print created by artist Rob Pea. The commemorative prints will be FREE to anyone who contributes 10 non-perishable food items or a specified cash donation to the food drive!

Donation bins will be located inside of the festival grounds at the Conscious Alliance ‘Art that Feeds’ gallery where we will trade poster redemption vouchers for your non-perishable donations, to be redeemed for your poster at anytime during the weekend.

Donations of low-sodium and health food oriented products are especially encouraged. Ramen Noodles will not be accepted for the free poster.

Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere the music plays!

The Pre-Sale has come to an end.  They are now available nationwide for the price of $130.  This price won’t last long, so get them now before they go up to the last presale price of $145. We have several more bands to add to the lineup soon, so check back for updates.

We are very excited to see the widespread enthusiasm for this event, especially our Green Ticketing option, and the response to our greening initiatives. We all need to pay a little more attention to our environment, and this is one way that we can keep this event from having a negative impact on our land.

We will be welcoming THE JOIN, which is comprised of Jamie Shields and Darren Shearer of THE NEW DEAL, and Tom Hamilton and Clay Parnell of BROTHERS PAST.  This newly formed super group will prove to be a very exciting addition to the lineup and will produce some electrifying collaborations!  For the second year in a row, Future Rock will be dropping some of their original material as well as some music inspired by Daft Punk labeled as Daft Rock!   Philadelphia native, King Britt, who gained his fame with Digable Planets, will grace us with a set of his many styles of music including deep house, hip-hop, broken beat, nu-jazz, funk, and afro-tech, bringing many new elements to the already eclectic lineup.   Finally, the high energy, and extremely chaotic Holy Fuck will join us from Canada.  Don’t let the name scare you… these guys will bring the dance party!

Our lineup is not complete just yet!   Stay tuned to www.campbisco.net for TWO more rounds of artist additions.  Early Bird tickets are now on sale for $115 at campbisco.net, discobiscuits.com & meatcamp.com. Be sure to get your tickets before the early bird allotment runs out.

Simon Posford, along with DJ OTT and Youth, will be performing a live set of Hallucinogen in DUB for the first time ever in the USA and only the second time ever world-wide. This show, which will be performed on live bass, keyboards, and other instruments, will surely be one of the highlights of a great weekend! They will be performing brand new music as well as the classics from the In Dub album.

We will see you there!

We are extremely excited to announce the sixth installment of Camp Bisco, to be held on August 16th-18th, at Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, NY.  This year’s festivities will be extended by one day, and will feature 3 nights of music, and two full days.  For the first time in the history of Camp Bisco, the Disco Biscuits will be playing all 3 nights. To make this Camp Bisco a positive experience for everyone, we will be working directly with the Camp Creek crew, who have been working at ILCC for years, as well as the land owners and the ILCC staff to make this the best home for Camp Bisco for years to come.

After listening to all your concerns from last year, we sought out for a venue that would be more pleasing to you, the fans.  ILCC offers almost 200 acres of beautiful, flat, privately owned land in upstate New York, only 20 miles northwest of Albany.  There will not be a shortage of land and all attendees will camp next to their cars and have the use of the many great facilities the venue has to offer including flushable toilets and clean bathroom facilities as well as men’s and women’s showers.

We ask that you be respectful to the land and the employees that run the grounds. While the front-gate search has been known to be thorough, once inside, you are free to move about the areas without the hassles of repeated searches.  There is NO glass of any kind allowed on the property, along with no weapons, fireworks, or illegal substances.  If you follow these simple rules, Camp Bisco will be a wonderful experience for all.  Please remember that these rules are enforced to keep all attendees safe while they are on the property.

For those who choose not to camp, there are a wide variety of hotels and lodging within 15-20 minutes of ILCC in Schenectady, NY.  We will also be sectioning off a large, flat field for RV parking only.  Stay tuned to www.campbisco.net and www.discobiscuits.com for more details on this as well as all other information pertaining to the event.
